About Align & Define

Align & Define is a Virtual Barre and Fitness Community dedicated to helping women become their strongest and happiest selves.  With the demands that life places on us, I hear time and again that women can't find time for themselves.  Whether it is work, children, pets, spouses, homes, or aging parents, we are all stretched thin with little time to spare.  Align & Define was born from the desire to move our bodies and connect with other women in a flexible and meaningful way, regardless of location or obligations. ​We offer low and medium-impact classes 7 days a week with a focus on building strength, promoting stability, restoring alignment and increasing stamina.  We also provide a video library with over 100 workouts for replay whenever you can squeeze in some time for yourself. The result: a happier, stronger mind and body as you go though out your day!  No experience necessary and all abilities are welcome!

Working with Mariana has improved my strength, my body condition, and my mood. But what I did not expect was to develop a love of moving my body in a supported and direct way. A way that allows me to push myself, but gently; a way that empowers me to walk away from the scale and instead focus on how I feel. Mariana's approach is welcoming and supportive, and she truly has something for everyone. I have been able to adapt Mariana's classes for asthma, COVID, sciatica, and depression, all while never having to quit or even take time off. I was never the type to enjoy physical activity in any way. I tried the gym and would leave after 10 minutes. But, barre is different. It's so much more than working out, it doesn't just help me physically, but mentally and emotionally too. It feels so good to get a few hours a week to work and focus on myself, to escape the world, to breathe. I never could have imagined I would be where I am now, glad in the skin I'm in.
